P E R S O N A L

I have always loved the examination of the ordinary, the everyday. My original mentor encouraged me to see beauty and opportunity in everyday situations, the things that happen behind closed doors, in the suburbs, the housing estates. The struggles of the everyman and everywoman, for recognition, satisfaction and a sense of belonging.

My personal work is where I get to take my craft to the nth degree, to experiment and hone my skills, to play with light and explore technical perfection. There is nothing ‘shoot from the hip’ about it. My approach, as with all my other work, is considered, well-planned, carefully constructed and controlled.
